Founded in Ancaster, Ontario, SHIELDGUARD INC was born from the vision and determination of Clauzer Dziedziensky. Our company exists to bring the same advanced protection once reserved for corporate and hospital environments directly into Canadian and American homes.
Clauzer holds a technical background in Telecommunications (with a focus on engineering) and has more than 20 years of international experience with industry leaders such as Philips, Ericsson, FORE Systems, and Marconi PLC. He later built a successful solo career, creating a patented "Safe Room" for data centres that earned UL certification for fire, smoke, IP66, and electromagnetic field protection. He designed and built his own testing laboratory from the ground up.
🎯 The COVID Mission — Why This Device Exists
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Clauzer witnessed a tragedy unfolding across North America: in senior care homes and multi-floor buildings, shared HVAC systems were pulling contaminated air from one room or floor and distributing it throughout the entire building.
Some facilities were losing five or more residents per week. Strikes and heartbreak made headlines. The problem was not just the virus in one room — it was the building's air dynamics spreading pathogens to everyone else.
SHIELDGUARD was engineered to solve exactly this: isolate an apartment or room from the rest of the building. One air inlet open, all others sealed, door closed, air filtered and UV-treated, then released back into the same room with positive pressure — so contaminated air from other units cannot infiltrate.
Our first product is the SHIELDGUARD INC HEPA Air Purifier with fully enclosed 265 nm UV-C — engineered to help keep your room's air cleaner while meeting the highest Canadian and U.S. safety standards.
And this is just the beginning. Soon, SHIELDGUARD INC will also launch a line of residential bunkers inspired by the same proven corporate Safe Room technology.
